boat builders, designers, repairers, and surveyors from around the world who took part in IBEX 2008, the largest technical boat building event in the world.

“WOW!!  What a show!  IBEX 2008 was a stunning collection of new tricks and gadgets, improved products, and very impressive state of the art technologies. I especially liked a green parts washer, a sound dampening spray paint, and of course, the WhisperGen.

The classes were excellent. I particularly enjoyed listening to Ron Defoe talk about the new Lyman-Morse boat shed, and all the innovative ways they save energy. Also, I was glad to learn a bit about regulatory compliance from our friends in the industry with first hand experience.

As I stood in the catwalk of the Miami Beach Convention Center, looking down upon that vast sea of exhibits, with all those passionate mariners hunting down knowledge, I thought to myself, how lucky we are to have such an industry event.

What a great collection of people. I cannot thank you enough for putting together an event with such an abundance of information. Please let your staff know their work is deeply appreciated. IBEX 2008 lifts the whole industry up just a little bit, and we’re grateful.
